Carven Flagship store: enter a new era

Bluebell's acquisition of a majority stake in the house of Carven has effectively ushered in a new era for the brand. And to showcase Serge Ruffieux's first collection as creative director of Carven, our Parisian flagship store was given a major makeover.

The result is a new architectural concept, creating a contrast between the simplicity of the materials and the sophistication of their arrangements.

Since we wanted to offer a counterpoint to fashion's glossy image, we created a backstage, behind-the-scenes, and work-in-progress atmosphere. To be in this space is like to be in a conceptual archive room.

A true alchemy of opposites, the concept combines the preciousness of a work of art with the raw quality of the custom-made pine wood box in which the work is transported and archived.

The space's backstage, archive, and in-between feel is deliberate yet chic, with a particular attention given to details and contrasts, making it a perfect showcase, and a manifesto for the new Carven aesthetic.

Thanks to our upcoming pop-up tour, customers will be able to enjoy this new shopping experience at the Bon Marché ( from February 14 to March 14), Isetan, ( From March 21 to March 27), and Bergdorf Goodman (From March 19 to March 30).

The 2018 Carven Resort Collection is now available at the Flagship at 13, rue de Grenelle, Paris VII and on carven.com.
